Metro speed trapping urgently needed on Kenyon Howden Road

This should be a priority before a serious accident occurs.

EDITOR – I appeal to ward 64 councillor Gavin Hegter to request the Metro Police to set up random speed cameras on Kenyon Howden Road.

I walk along this road virtually every day and the speed that vehicles, both heavy and light, travel up and down this road is ludicrous.

There is absolutely no respect for the speed limit of 60kph along this road. I have seen some high-powered cars travelling up this road at such high speeds that they virtually launch into the air at the crest of the road opposite the bottle store. The same goes for vehicles travelling down the road at the lip of the road, opposite the MOTH hall.

This should be a priority before a serious accident occurs.
