THE South Durban Community Environmental Alliance (SDCEA) calls on South Durban residents to report air pollution.
“When you have reported your complaint to the municipality’s pollution hotline, ask for a reference number. Provide the number to the SDCEA office on 031-461-1991 together with a home or street address and contact numbers.
We will then follow up with a letters and emails to the relevant responsible authorities and keep you in the loop,” said SDCEA air quality officer, Bongani Mthembu.
SDCEA has also developed an online air quality questionnaire aimed at schools and local communities. Fill in the survey and help SDCEA collate information on local air pollution: https://goo.gl/forms/4UyYQKfX4XQk8e4x1.

YELLOWWOOD Park/Woodhaven sector policing forum meets is on Tuesday, 9 August at 6.30pm in the side hall of the Yellowwood Park Civic Centre.

Nappy run this weekend
THE Christian Motorcyclists Association hosts a nappy run on Saturday, 13 August, commencing from Southway Mall.
Riders will meet at 9am to begin the mass ride at 9.30am, ending at Woodlands Sports Club.
Entry fee is a pack of baby or adult nappies which will be donated after the event. Food stalls, entertainment for children, a live band and much more will be on offer at the sports club after the run.
