Traffic Advisory: Turf Avenue closed as residents protest
Residents have gathered at Turf Avenue to protest the death of Laurelle Mario and appeal to anyone with information to assist investigators.
Residents of Eldorado Park have closed Turf Avenue in protest over the recent death of 38-year-old Laurelle Mario from Eldorado Park.
The community gathered at the traffic lights at Turf and Buckingham Avenue, near Eldorado Park Police Station.

Residents are holding posters with a photograph of Mario, chanting her name in an effort to create awareness and encourage eyewitnesses to come forward and assist with the investigation.

Currently, residents have blocked the road heading towards Shoprite. Motorists are advised to use Sirkel Road and join Turf Avenue at Shoprite.
