Check your doors

Residents are urged to make sure that their vehicles are locked when using a remote.

Since the increase in theft of cars in Eldorado Park, police say drivers should take extra caution.

It is especially after dawn that theft of cars take place.

Drivers should physically check that their doors are locked as criminals may use remote jammers on unsuspecting victims.

Residents are also cautioned to keep their doors locked especially during load shedding.

“Criminals use load shedding to their advantage and for this the community must be extra careful,” Gugulethu Radebe, a communications intern said.
