Soweto DJ starts trial today

After spending seven months in prison, Donald Sebolai will appear for trial at the Palm Ridge Magistrate Court.

Soweto DJ, Donald Sebolai is set to start his trial today after he was released on R10 000 bail last month, January 20.

Sebolai had spent seven months in jail, after being on the run for days following charges of allegedly murdering his girlfriend.

When the DJ was asked to plead at his second appearance, he pleaded not guilty.

Police’s Kay Makhubela confirmed that Sebolai will be appearing today at the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court for his first day of trial.
