Door to door drug campaign

Greater Meadowlands Local Drug Action Committee (GMLDAC) in partnership with City of Johannesburg and Social Development is conducting substance abuse door to door campaign in ward 40 which consists of Mzimhlophe, Killarney and Meadowlands Zone 11.

The aim of the campaign is to:

• Make the community aware of the LDAC and its services.
• Recruit more stakeholders for participation and impact.
• Identify people who are affected by the scourge for purpose of intervention and support.
• To educate the community about the risks and harm of substance abuse to the addict, family and community.
