Police warn of growing trend of vehicle theft in Pennyville

12 vehicles stolen this month alone.

Orlando police have issued a warning to residents of Pennyville regarding the growing trend of vehicle theft.

This month alone 12 vehicles have been stolen while parked at night in Pennyville.

“We urge residents to beef up security for their vehicles especially those who park outside in the open,” said head of communications at Orlando Police Station, Nomvula Mbense.

According to reports, vehicle brands which are being targeted the most include,Toyota, Nissan and Mazda.

No arrests have been made thus far and police are still investigating these cases.
