Four injured in a two-vehicle collision, Newlands
An accident in Newclare left Four injured.

Four people were injured on Sunday morning, 7th August, after a two-vehicle collision at the Ackerman and Rory Road intersection in Newlands.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found both vehicles in the middle of the intersection.
On inspection, paramedics found that four people had been injured in the collision.
Russel Meiring ER24 spokesperson said one of the patients, an elderly man, laid trapped inside one of the light motor vehicles.
“Rescue services had to use the jaws-of-life to free the man for his vehicle.
“Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries, which ranged from minor to moderate and thereafter transported them to a nearby hospital for further treatment,” said Meiring.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
