Diepkloof gets rid of the potholes

Residents complained about the situation of potholes

The roads in Diepkloof are currently being renovated to rid of the pothole’s frustrations the driving residents face.

The Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) has commissioned Acto Phambili to execute the project.

Abby Vanwyk, the supervisor for the project from the appointed company, said, “The project is purposed to fix all the roads in Diepkloof for people and motorists to enjoy their roads.”

The project started on March 30 and date of completion has not been mentioned.

Mandla Mdhluli, a General Worker hired by the company handling the project said, “The project came at a right time and has been flowing smoothly. There haven’t been any accidents since inception.”

The project came just a few months after residents of Diepkloof held a series of meetings about service delivery.

Collet Sibiya, another worker said, “This is a good project, we hope it lasts until December.”

Constructions are underway in Immink Drive, one of the key roads in Diepkloof that goes through zone one to zone six.
