Jowest Riverlea Masters League in Riverlea

A tightly contested match between Balevista Masters and Riverlea Masters

The Jowest Riverlea Masters League was heated this past Sunday as the competition was tough and both fields were occupied by the masters.

Sharief Vania, public relations officer for Milan FC said that the masters league is all about inspiring youngsters to keep playing the game.

“This league is so important, we bring our sons here to watch us play,” said Vania. Riverlea has three teams playing in the Masters League.

“We’ll play against each other like it’s a derby but then afterwards we are still able to sit with each other and enjoy others play the game.

“Now that is what the youngsters need to understand, but they have too much time on their hands and this results in them doing the wrong things. We are here every Sunday because we love this game, this is our Sundays,” added Vania.

On the first grounds, Future Masters played against home team Milan FC. The first half ended with a 1-1 score but in the second half, the visitors scored a last-minute goal which ended the game with a final score of 2-1.

On the second grounds, Balevista Masters played against Riverlea Masters where the masters battled it out to a 1-1 stalemate.
