The Lil’Choices make a difference

If you would like to sponsor a braai pack, call Rae Bagus on 082 782 6018

Lil Choices will be having a Braai Day on September 23, one day before the National Braai day.

The registered non-profit organisation was created to protect unborn babies of pre-teen or teenage mothers as well as pregnant women.

“Many young girls who fall pregnant have to abandon their children or suffer the humiliation of a back-street abortion, sometimes costing them their lives.

This is because they are left with no choice,” said founder Rae Bagus. The organisation gives the girls the choice of having their baby or babies with dignity and deciding the future of their child by either having the baby adopted or keeping their baby.

Well, it’s that time of the year when the organisation raises funds for the facility and to give back to senior citizens and the underprivileged.

“This year the Braai Day will be held at 14 Dan Pienaar Avenue, Florida North on September 23. Last year we fed many senior citizens and underprivileged children. We would like to double that this year,” said founder Rae Bagus.

If you are interested in sponsoring a senior citizen with a braai pack, this will cost R45 (the pack consists of meat, roll, salad and a cold drink). A normal braai pack will cost R65 (includes a T-bone, chop, boerewors, roll, salad and a soft drink).

“You could enjoy your braai here or order your braai pack for the next day which is Heritage Day known as Braai Day,” added Bagus.

If you would like to sponsor a braai pack, call Rae Bagus on 082 782 6018 or deposit your donation directly into the Lil Choices FNB account number: 62576057527, Branch code: 254605.

All orders and donations need to be submitted by September 18.
