Twenty Five learners from Sibekiwe Primary School endowed with school shoes

All learners were provided with a lunch meal, a teddy bear and a pair of new school shoes each as a gift.

Twenty Five learners from Sibekiwe Primary School will no longer go to school with torn shoes thanks to Young Woman Group and 3D Projects and Design for helping a black child in need.

Young Woman Group is an empowering business that aims to empower through motivational and inspirational talk.

They have various empowering services they offer, from events and CSI initiatives that aim to empower Men, Women, Youth, teenagers, Scholars in South Africa.

Louisa Molise is the founder of Young Woman Group and she explained what they offer also have CSI initiatives where we continuously grow and empower the country and youngsters through various giving back initiatives, projects or movements on an ongoing basis.

” We provide many opportunities to engage our corporate partners and their employees actively in our mission to fight hunger and poverty in South Africa and to promote healthy eating and good education to learners at schools.

“Our team works with companies to help them reach their CSI and employee engagement goals as we serve those in need around the world,” said Molise.

All learners were provided with a lunch meal, a teddy bear and a pair of new school shoes each as a valentines day gift.

It was an emotional day as most parents came in numbers to support and witness the beautiful work we have put together.

Molise said, to strengthen our communities, build a proper nation and enabling those families that could not afford a shoe. Our main them for the day was to empower a learner and keep a learner in school.

We also became emotional as some parents and learners were in tears, as they were given a pair of new shoes for the first time.

We had 2 volunteers that took their time off things and gave us their time, spent the day at school with us and ensuring all learners are empowered.

Louisa Molise shared the importance of giving back in our communities and Emmanuel Shumba representative from the City of Joburg, Jabulani mall fire station EMS ire fighter, shared an empowering talk with the learners, parents, and teachers on safety measures, procedures and what to do in case of an emergency.

They also a representative from the teddy bear foundation who came in and spoke about their programs the are offering at schools, child abuse is one of them.
