Two teenage boys, aged 16 and 17, have been arrested for attempted murder following a violent stabbing incident in EXT 4.
Eldorado Park SAPS Vispol members, together with detectives, responded to a complaint of a fight involving knives in Kremetart Street on April 21.
Eldorado Park SAPS media liaison officer Sergeant Fezeka Khobo said officers arrived on the scene and found the victim being attacked.

“On arrival, members witnessed the victim being stabbed multiple times on his body before he collapsed,” said Khobo.
One of the suspects fled the scene, while police managed to apprehend two alleged suspects shortly thereafter.
The injured victim was transported to hospital for urgent medical treatment. The motive for the attack remains unclear at this stage, and investigations are ongoing.

The two suspects were subsequently arrested on charges of attempted murder and detained at the Walter Sisulu Juvenile Centre. They are expected to appear in court soon.
Khobo urged community members to report violent incidents promptly to enable a swift police response.
