Unbeaten FC Samuels dominate Eldorado under-17 league

C Samuels have earned the right to be called champions of the Eldorado Local Football Association U17 Junior League for 2026, having already established an insurmountable 13-point lead with three matches left to play.

They boast an impressive record of 16 wins and one draw in 17 games, scoring more than 50 goals and conceding only eight.
According to coach Brinton Solomons, winning the championship is the culmination of a five-year journey.

“First of all, I must give all the praise to my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, for what he has accomplished with us boys,” he said.

Solomons, who has more than 30 years of coaching experience, commended the boys for their professionalism and dedication.

During the school holidays, they were eager to train twice a day, four days a week.

“This is something special. I have never seen such committed boys as we are,” he noted.

The team also won the U10 league, finishing with 12 wins, five draws and one loss in 18 games.

The players will be promoted to the senior league, compete in the Discovery U17 championship and sign with the scouting company Pro Athlete.

Solomons said strong parental support had made managing equipment and logistics much easier throughout the season. He appealed to the community to continue supporting the team on match days.

“We would just like the community to come out and support our boys. And see their best performance.”
