Eldos police bust suspect for unlicensed firearm
Police in Eldorado Park have made a significant arrest, seizing an unlicensed firearm and ammunition from a suspect during a high-speed chase.
A 21-year-old suspect was arrested for possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition in Eldorado Park on March 21.
The arrest was made by Eldorado Park SAPS, in collaboration of the Gauteng Traffic Wardens.
The team was conducting Operation Teka Hinkwaswo, a targeted initiative aligned with crime analysis when they spotted the suspect attempting to run along the Golden Highway.

A high-speed chase ensued, and the suspect was eventually apprehended.
Upon searching the suspect, the police found a firearm with live ammunition.
The suspect was arrested, detained at Eldorado Park SAPS cells for further investigations, and is expected to appear in court soon.
