Manhunt launched after violent house robbery and rape in Orlando West
The police launched a manhunt after criminals raped woman and robbed several tenants during a violent house robbery in Orlando West last week.
The police in Orlando launched a manhunt for five armed criminals following a brutal house robbery and rape in Orlando West on October 17.
According to the SAPS, five men, three armed and wearing balaclavas, stormed into a yard with several occupants, forced their way into the house and robbed the victims.
Reportedly, two of the criminals broke into a bedroom and took turns raping a young woman. Another tenant in the yard was assaulted and stabbed in the arm when he screamed for help.

The criminals stole the tenants’ two cellphones and car keys before fleeing in an unknown car after a family member alerted the community.
Provincial forensic experts attended the scene, collected evidence and lifted fingerprints. The rape survivor was taken to a medical facility for treatment and trauma support.
The police confirmed that the victims might be able to identify the attackers if seen again.
A case of house robbery, rape, and assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm is open, and investigations are ongoing.
