Accused in murder of Meadowlands woman abandons bail as case postponed
he man accused of the murder of Lebogang Sikwane, who was discovered by the community of Meadowlands Zone 3, made his fourth appearance in the Orlando Magistrate’s Court.
After the postponement of a short appearance at the Orlando Magistrate’s Court on November 28, Michael Moremi appeared again today, December 4.
Sikwane’s body was found close to a local school near her home and the accused’s home after being missing for a day.
The emotional family of Sikwane attended court with the support of community members and different organisations.

The accused abandoned bail, and the case was postponed to January 29 for further investigations.
Everyone who attended left in low spirits due to the magnitude of the case.
Family and those who attended requested not to comment as emotions were still high.
