Mrs eSoweto back with a bang

Mrs eSoweto is calling on women around the township, between the ages of 30 to 55, to join them in their third annual competition.

According to the founder of the pageant, Fikile Motaung, this year’s competition will be bigger and better than that of the past two years and the winners get to walk away with astonishing prices.

“The aim and goal of our pageant has not changed. We still stand for local matured women and helping them to rediscover their life purpose as well as equipping them them with the necessary skills that will assist them to overcome unspoken fears that they went through in life,” Motaung said.

She added that the participants will undergo workshops which will be hosted throughputs their journey with Mrs eSoweto including mental health, public speaking, modelling, GBV awareness, beauty and skin care, health, fitness, and entrepreneurship.

“Some women tend to lose their self confidence the minute they are divorced, start families or lose their loved ones, so as Mrs eSoweto we are here to restore hope to those women and remind them that they are still queens of their own castles.”

This year’s prizes will include a cash voucher, a getaway or holiday experience, clothing, spa massage, groceries, hair products, professional photo shoot and perfume hamper.

“The interested candidates can register online by sending a WhatsApp to 073 233 4456 and will be required to forward a one minute video telling us about themselves and why they want to be a part of the pageant; as well as a head and shoulder picture and R400 registration fee. We do not have any restrictions; every woman is welcome to join us and showcase their talent.”
