Three alleged hijackers fatally shot at Diepkloof interchange
The victim allegedly retaliated and shot and killed three of the suspects when they pointed a knife at him.

Three alleged hijackers were shot and killed at the Diepkloof interchange on October 29.
According to Colonel Dimakatso Mevhuhulwi, a man was driving on the highway when occupants of two vehicles allegedly signalled for him to stop, displaying what appeared to be a police appointment certificate.
“When he stopped, three men from a Kia Rio approached, claiming there was an issue under his car.
“As he bent down to check, he was threatened with a knife and instructed not to move, as they wanted his car, not him,” Mevhuhulwi said.
