1 000 loaves of bread donated to the needy to celebrate World Kindness Day

Sunbake Bread inspires a ripple of kindness as they plan to donate bread and encourage South Africans to give back.

In celebration of World Kindness Day, Sunbake Bread has launched an inspiring initiative on November 13 to spread hope and compassion across South Africa.

The company aims to distribute at least 1 000 loaves of freshly baked bread to those in need, symbolizing 1 000 acts of kindness.

In a world often marked by division, Sunbake believes that small acts of kindness can make a significant impact.

“We want to encourage our community to think of others and create a ripple effect that fosters a kinder society,” said Hayley May, brand manager at RCL Foods.

Sunbake has partnered with influential personalities Lasizwe, Keegan Gordon, Lerato Kganyago, and Candice Modiselle to lead this journey.

Together, they will visit communities across Gauteng, sharing bread and moments of connection with those who rarely experience it.

“Kindness is the simplest gift we can offer, yet it has the power to nourish communities and lift spirits in ways that last far beyond a single day,” May added.

“At Sunbake, we believe that every loaf shared is a step toward a brighter, more connected South Africa.”
South Africans are invited to join Sunbake in spreading kindness.

Share a loaf, offer support, or simply use the hashtags #Sunbake4WorldKindnessDay and #SunbakeBrighteningLives to share your own stories of kindness.
