New batch of police officers promoted in Gauteng

Twenty-seven officers of the SAPS in Gauteng were promoted to critical management and operational services roles across the province on November 8.

Kekana congratulated the newly promoted officers, including colonels ME Kgole, SE Magalefa, and BM Lethoko, who had received their ranks previously.

He emphasised the importance of humility, integrity, and teamwork, reminding the officers that their promotions were ‘by the grace of God and at His timing’.
Kekana encouraged the officers to treat their promotions with respect and to conduct themselves in an exemplary manner.
He concluded the ceremony by wishing the officers well in their new roles and reminding them to be good ambassadors for the SAPS.
