Mr and Miss Eldorado Park returns
Empowering young minds the Miss Eldorado park pageant experience.
The Mr and Miss Eldorado Park (MMEP) pageant is now accepting entries for its upcoming competition.
This year’s event promises to be an exciting celebration of empowerment, self-expression, and community spirit.
Founded by Naeema Pedro, a seasoned model and pageant organiser, the MMEP pageant aims to provide a platform for young women and men to develop confidence, poise, and public speaking skills.

According to Pedro, the competition is open to individuals from all areas, with four categories including Mr Eldorado Park (16-30 years), Miss Teen Eldorado Park (10-16 years), Miss Eldorado Park (16-29 years), and Mrs Eldorado Park (25+ years).
She said the pageant is not only open to people who resides in Eldorado Park. “We allow individuals from all areas to enter.
You meet people from different backgrounds and that helps you learn new skills and understand how to socialise with others.
“We encourage the sisterhood and brotherhood environment to ensure that everyone is part of the family, that allows for everyone to feel safe. We use the life experiences of everyone to inspire growth,” she said.
The pageant’s organisers are committed to celebrating diversity and inclusivity, providing a safe and supportive environment for all contestants.
“This year’s event will feature a range of activities, including charity events, fundraisers, interview rounds, and weekly rehearsals.

Previous winners of the pageant have gone on to achieve great success, winning titles such as Miss Soweto, Miss Gauteng Exclusive and Miss Glam SA among others.”

The entry fee is R250, and contestants will receive a comprehensive package, including workshops, rehearsals, and a charity event.
The community of Eldos can get involved to support the organisation by entering the competition, support models in their charity drive, purchasing tickets and voting favourite model and prize sponsorship from local business.
