Fatal shooting in Mofolo caused by taxi wars

Gauteng police are investigating a case of murder after three men were shot dead at the corner of Zulu Drive and Nape Avenue at Mofolo earlier today, April 7.

“It is alleged that occupants of a grey or silver vehicle started shooting at the occupants of a Toyota Corolla, which resulted in the death of three men.
“The incident is believed to be a taxi association’s ongoing war, and all the victims belong to the association. All possibilities will be investigated,” Kweza said.
