Woman found killed in Lufhereng
The Doornkop Police Station has opened a murder case.
The police are investigating the murder of a woman in Doornkop after receiving information about a lifeless female body at a house in Lufhereng, Doornkop, at about 02:00 on April 3.

According to Joburg district corporate communication co-ordinator Lieutenant Colonel Mpho Tshetlhane, the police swiftly went to the scene and, upon arrival, discovered the body of a 39-year-old woman in a pool of blood.

“She sustained stab wounds to her upper body and was certified dead at the scene. No one has been arrested yet, and the motive behind the incident is not yet known,” said Tshetlhane.
Tshetlhane said the police appeal to community members who might have information that could assist with the investigation to contact their nearest police or call Crime Stop on 086 0010111 or use the MYSAPS app to give an anonymous tip-off.
