The first arrest occurred along Komani Street in Riverlea, where a 40-year-old male was arrested for being in possession of four and a half tablets suspected to be Mandrax.
In a robust enforcement action on April 14, the Anti-Gang Unit (AGU) arrested three male suspects linked to the possession of suspected Mandrax tablets across various locations in Johannesburg.
The first arrest occurred along Komani Street in Riverlea, where a 40-year-old male was arrested for being in possession of four and a half tablets suspected to be Mandrax.

“We will keep our boots on the ground and continue to make a significant impact.
“The community plays a crucial role in this fight; we urge everyone to report any suspicious activities,” said AGU Commander Brigadier Maphoto.
