Eldos senior citizen arrested for drugs and unlicensed firearm
A 58-year-old man's involved in narcotics and firearms detained at Eldorado Park SAPS.
Members of the Eldorado Park SAPS Tracing Team in collaboration with the Gauteng Traffic Wardens arrested, a 58 year old man at Agaat Street, July 25.
According to the Eldorado Park SAPS media liaison officer, Sergeant Fezeka Khobo, the police were tracing a murder suspect at Agaat Street.
“However, instead of the targeted individual, officers uncovered what appears to be a drug dealing operation inside the premises.”
“A suspect aged 58 was found in possession of bags of crystal method, tablets of MaMandrex, scales with skits, zip locks of dagga and lollie pipes.”
Khobo said when he was further searched police discovered a Glock firearm, ammunition and undisclosed amount of cash.
The alleged suspect was then arrested, detained at Eldorado Park SAPS holding cells for further investigation.
