Community and schools clean-up day
Join Purpose Recycling for an exciting day of community clean-up, educational activities, and inspiring talks that will empower residents to make a difference.
Purpose Recycling is preparing to host its Mandela Month School Recycling Awareness Campaign and Clean-up Day at Don Mateman Hall in Eldorado Park on July 31.
This will be a unique Mandela month celebration, focused on environmental health and conservation. It is set to take place from 09:00 to 15:00.
The keynote address is expected to be delivered by the Gauteng MEC for Environment, Ewan Botha. Community members and children will learn how to combat waste and pollution. They will also learn the value of recycling and environmental conservation from various stakeholders like Polyco and EWA SA Metpac.
