SAMRO calls on members to apply for Soul Candi music business masterclass

The Southern African Music Rights Organisation is offering 70 bursaries for members to join an accredited Soul Candi Institute of Music business masterclass, aimed at boosting music industry skills and career growth.

The Southern African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO) invites its full and associate members to apply for the Soul Candi Institute of Music (SCIM) Business Masterclass training programme.

This is an accredited learning opportunity designed to strengthen the professional and creative capacity of music creators.

Through this partnership, SAMRO’s Corporate Social Investment (CSI) Programme will award 70 bursaries to eligible members, empowering them with industry-relevant knowledge and practical skills to navigate and thrive in the music business. Successful applicants can expect expert-led training by industry professionals, access to modern studios and digital learning platforms, and opportunities to collaborate and expand their creative network.

Applications will open on November 24 and close on December 15.

The minimum entry requirement is a National Certificate: NQF Level 2, STD 8, or equivalent qualification.

SAMRO full and associate members in good standing, with a commitment to developing their creative and technical expertise, are encouraged to apply.
