Woman found dead at Zola Eco Park under unexplained circumstances

Emergency services were called to Zola Eco Park after patrollers discovered a woman unresponsive. Police are investigating the incident.

Patrollers in Zola discovered the body of a woman at the area’s Eco Park on Saturday, January 9, raising concerns among local residents.

According to reports, the woman was believed to have been using substances at the time and was reportedly found by other users, who alerted patrollers.

Upon arrival, patrollers found the woman unresponsive on the ground and immediately contacted the police and emergency medical services.

She was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Patroller Luyanda Rayi stated that the woman, believed to be from Finetown and carrying the Peterson surname, had no visible injuries on her body or face.

Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding her death. Authorities have appealed to anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
