This day brought together over 2 500 women from across Soweto and surrounding communities for an unforgettable afternoon dedicated to honouring the strength, resilience, and contributions of mothers and women within society.

The event served as a heartfelt tribute to the women who continue to carry families, nurture communities, and shape the future of South Africa through their unwavering strength and sacrifice.

“As the soul of Soweto, we believe it is important to create platforms that not only entertain but also honour the people who continue to shape and uplift our communities.

“This celebration was a tribute to every woman whose strength and resilience continue to inspire society every day,” said the marketing manager of Maponya Mall, Sharon Radebe.

The event was supported by Maponya VW and Cell C, whose involvement helped deliver a memorable and elevated experience for attendees.

The premium entertainment lineup also featured celebrated personalities and DJs, including Paul Mtirara, DJ Young, DJ Grant and Tbose, creating an atmosphere that united generations of women through music and shared experiences.
