School principal Sidwell Buthelezi said the pledge serves as a reminder that integrity is the foundation of true success.
“As our learners prepare to write their final exams, we want them to remember that honesty and hard work will always take them further than shortcuts.
“Rewarding learners is a vital way to recognise their hard work, commitment and growth. It motivates them to keep striving for excellence and sets a positive example for others.

“Acknowledging learners for their achievements, whether academic, leadership or personal, boosts their confidence and reinforces their sense of purpose. Such recognition reminds them that their dedication does not go unnoticed and that success is built through consistency and perseverance,” said Buthelezi.
He further stated that rewarding learners also strengthens the school’s culture of achievement, inspiring future classes to aim higher, knowing that effort and integrity are celebrated and valued.
“Taking the pledge today reminded me how far I’ve come and how hard I’ve worked this year. It’s given me the confidence to stay focused and finish strong with determination, effort and doing things the right way,” said learner Noluthando Mazibuko.
