Kofukan Dojo excels at a tournament
The Kofukan Dojo participated in the Eagles Karate Tournament where all the Diepkloof participants all came back with medals.
The Kofukan Dojo in Diepkloof competed at the 21st Eagles Karate Tournament in Pretoria West on Saturday.
The Kofukan Dojo entered six participants and all of them managed to win medals.
Sensei Thabo Molobi said that the competition was tough.
“The Eagles tournament is usually the first tournament that we enter every year. We have been training since January in preparation of the tournament,” he said.
14 clubs from Pretoria and Johannesburg participated in the tournament.
“When we started this year we promised ourselves to sweep everything in our way and so far so good. In our closing ceremony late year, we rewarded the best performers which has made every one of my pupils motivated and determined to succeed,” he said.
The Kofukan Dojo is already hard in preparations for an upcoming tournament in Mpumalanga next month.
