“The area referred to, situated in Cowles Street is private property.
The landlord is in the process of backfilling and levelling the area with builder’s rubble and soil for future development.”

Illegal dumping along Grootvlei road from the railway bridge in Strubenvale towards the Grootvlei mine is a continuous problem.
Modiba assured residents that “the area will be monitored and cleaned on a regular basis.” However, “No Dumping sign boards will be erected during July 2013”, said Modiba.
