Murray Park revival

Murray Park leisure resort is still closed and pending renovation once the necessary procurement processes have taken place in order for the renovation to begin.

The actual amount that it will cost to renovate the park is still unconfirmed.

Metro spokesperson, Sam Modiba said, “the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality’s parks department has received allocation for the renovation of the park and due to procurement processes that are still taking place we cannot confirm the actual amount that will be spent on the park.”

Renovations are due to take place this financial year, following the master plan that was presented to Springs residents last year November through a public participation process.
