Exchange students wanted

Every year, Rotary is looking for exchange students.

Rotary Youth Exchange programmes are being arranged every year by the Rotary Club of Springs Park.

This is a six to eight week exchange to another country.

Applications are now open to students aged between 15 and 19 years.

To qualify, applicants should be above-average students who have demonstrated leadership in their community, of good character, emotionally stable, and be in good physical health.

A student should also possess qualities such as flexibility and a willingness to try new things that will enable them to fully experience life in another country.

Most importantly, the students must be able and willing to be a good ambassador.

District interviews will take place in February and the students will be notified in March.
