Senior citizens spoiled

Most of them were dressed in white and red to celebrate the happy occasion.

Manager Theresa Fry believes the residents must be reminded that there are still people that care about them.

“Some of them don’t have partners but we are all partners in love,” she says.

Each one was treated with a picnic basket filled with treats and a cold drink.

Bea Myburgh was crowned the best dressed resident, while the best dressed nursing staff member is Monica Lubisi.

Goodness Sibisi was crowned the best cleaner.

While music was playing in the background the most original dressed prize was given to Sonja Derks.

Theresa says she has a lot of plans for the residents for 2015.
