A 40-year-old suspect was arrested for possession of drugs, in Everest, on Monday.
While patrolling the area, Springs police saw a suspicious-looking man and stopped to talk to him.
Upon searching him, police officers found a bag of drugs.

Police saw the pair trying to take copper cables from the Telkom building in the CBDRamphora says when the suspects saw the police, they tried to run away, but were apprehended.
The suspects, aged 21 and 38, were arrested for business robbery and taken to the Springs police cells.
They will remain in custody until their court appearance.
