A policeman on duty was on a routine patrol in the area at 2.30pm, when he noticed two men exchanging something.
Capt Johannes Ramphora, Springs police spokesman, says the policeman stopped to talk to the two men.

When one of the suspects noticed the policeman, he ran away.
“The policeman searched the remaining suspect and found four transparent bags containing a white substance,” says Ramphora.
The suspect (age unknown) was arrested and taken to the police cells.
He will appear in court soon.
