SAPS spokesman Capt Johannes Ramphora says Nkosi kidnapped a seven-year-old girl in Tsakane on September 30.
Ramphora says the the 25-year-old woman was arrested on November 14, after the child informed a police officer that she had been kidnapped.

Nkosi was also found unfit to possess a firearm according to Article 103 of the Firearms Control Act.
