In response to the water leak complaint in Edelweiss Metro spokesperson Themba Gadebe says a team was recently dispatched to repair the leak.
“A washer was worn out and was replaced,” he says.
The metro conducted a follow-up inspection on June 1 to confirm the leak had been successfully repaired.
Following another complaints by Rodd Windell, the team dispatched discovered an inlet elbow was leaking which was repaired on Monday.
“If the leak had a negative impact to Windell’s account, he is advised to visit the Customer Care Centre for the account to be credited,” says Gadebe.
Windell says he received an SMS from the metro stating the acknowledgement of the complaint.
“Nobody has been here to repair the leak yet,” he says.
