It is alleged the suspects entered the shop and showed one of the customers a gun.
Springs police spokesperson, Captain Johannes Ramphora, says the suspects took cigarettes to the value of R1 000 and R2 000 in cash.
“It is alleged the sector police vehicle was at the garage before the suspects robbed the shop.
“The suspects waited for the members to leave.
“The video footage shows that they were driving a red Toyota Corolla, entered the garage and stopped at the furthest point of the garage.
“The suspects left the scene on foot leaving the Toyota Corolla behind. No shots were fired and no arrests were made” he says.
