The owner of a grey Ford Focus was hijacked on the corner of Coaton Avenue and Anglia Street in Selcourt on Sunday.
He was waiting to turn into Angola Street, when he noticed a white VW Jetta stopping in front of his vehicle.
“A green VW Golf was parked behind his vehicle,” says Capt Johannes Ramphora, SAPS spokesperson.
One of the suspects was armed and pointed the gun at the victim and ordered him to get out of his vehicle.
The suspect then got into the Focus and drove off, followed by the other two cars.
Ramphora says the victim’s laptop was in his car.
SAPS are investigating a case of hijacking.
