A man was shot twice during an attack in Gugulethu informal settlement last Wednesday evening.
The victim was inside his shack making food when three shot were fired into his home from the outside.
The one bullet hit him in his stomach and the other on his left arm and the other landed somewhere in the shack.

It is suspected that he was shot by other illegal miners as according to the man’s wife, he is also an illegal miner.
The victim was rushed to Far East Rand Hospital for treatment.
A case of attempted murder has been opened at the Springs Police Station.
