Golfers teed off early in the morning and played well into the afternoon.
As an icy-cold and strong wind swept across Springs this weekend, golfers were not deterred from competing in the Betterball Multiplier.

The weekend’s results were:
• First: Deon Kotze and Gawie Greeff with 77 points
• Second: Juan Greyling and Vernon Hendrikse with 72 points
• Third: Ilana Prinsloo and Willie van Tonder with 66 points
Golf captain of Springs Country Club Deon Kotze wants golfers to note:
• The entry sheet for the Betterball Knockout is in the pro shop. Please enter early and let’s get a good field this year.

• This Saturday is the next round of the Super 12; good luck to all the teams.
• On August 9, we will be having our Three Jacks and a Jill.
Shotgun start at 12noon.

The captains are Chris Ngwenya and Deon Kotze.

It will be a Ryder Cup format over 27 holes.
