Pre-school bakes 600 cupcakes for charity
The school initially planned on baking 212 cupcakes, with one cupcake per student.
Friday was a special day for learners at Little Achievers Preschool as they donated R6 000 to non-profit organisation Cupcakes for Hope.
The school held a cupcake day where children could buy cupcakes which would then be baked by the school staff.

By the end of the week, however, the hungry learners ended up buying more than 600 cupcakes, putting the bakers to the test and resulting in R6 000 being raised for the non-profit.
Deputy principle Chevon Pitout wishes to thank Springs Mall Ocean Basket, Casseldale Spar and many others for providing them with the ingredients for the cupcakes and making their donation possible.
Cupcakes for Hope raise funds for children with life-threatening diseases and help over 16 charities around the country.
