A large amount of money was stolen from the Pep store at The Avenues Shopping Centre last Monday.
Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora said approximately five robbers, two of whom were armed with guns, entered the store just after 11am.

They proceeded to empty the tills before fleeing on foot.
No shots were fired during the robbery and no injuries were reported.
