Electronics stolen at house and flat

The men fled in a charcoal-coloured Audi, with the registration JW17YXGP, which was waiting a few houses from the scene of the crime.

A Pollak Park man unknowingly opened the doors to his home to two house robbers last Tuesday evening, after thinking one of them was a friend.
The victim told police he was in his Oasis Street flat when he heard a knock at the door.

When he asked who it was, there was no answer and the person who knocked left and came back a few minutes later.

This time around when the victim asked who was at the door, the person replied ‘Thabo’.

Thinking it was his friend named Thabo, the victim opened the door and found two gunmen at the door.
One of the men asked the victim for money, his cellphone and a firearm.
With no money or gun to steal, the man then instructed his partner in crime to take the victim’s TV and cellphone before fleeing.
The victim later discovered there were another two men who robbed people in the main house on the property and took a TV, two cellphones and a tablet.
