Law enforcement has urged the community to be on the lookout for a white Nissan NP200 hijacked on 6th Street in Geduld on August 15 around 21:00.

The vehicle is branded with JUAVA pet shop.

According to Secure Tech Security, the driver was shot, and his stolen vehicle was seen travelling towards Prince George Avenue in Brakpan.

Maria Schutte from Guardian Angels First Responders was one of the emergency personnel who responded to the scene.

“We received the news via the crime group and immediately dispatched to the scene. The victim is currently in hospital,” Schutte said.

Anyone with information is urged to contact their nearest police station.
