ProSafe hosted its first corporate day in New Era last Thursday.
“The event aims to bring security decision-makers and buyers together. There have been so many improvements in security technology, and this is the platform where the creators can explain how it all works to the buyers,” explained Tony da Cruz, CEO of ProSafe Protection Products.
He said the platform is also great for exposure for many businesses in these difficult economic times.
Security professionals were spoiled with an array of the newest technologies and solutions from access control, video surveillance, alarm systems, smart solutions, drones and more.

“What can be done with artificial intelligence these days is mind-blowing. There are many ways businesses can benefit from all the data collected on these devices,” said da Cruz.
Guido Wigele from Alfa International, a local supplier of brake drums and discs, agreed it is important for end-users and creators to meet in this way.
“There are many products we would not know about if there was no display and demonstration like this. I have been fascinated by some of the things I have seen today.”
Du Cruz said they plan to make the event an annual one.
