Redeemed Life creates fun for children

"We understand that some of them are faced with daily stresses and frustrations. “

Redeemed Life hosted a children’s games day at Butler Park in Geduld on Saturday.
“We wanted the children to have some fun and just be kids. We understand that some of them are faced with daily stresses and frustrations.
“They all had such a lovely day,” said Winifred du Preez, the organisation’s founder.
The games catered for children as young as three years. It included colouring-in, three-legged races, sack races, wheelbarrow races and tug-of-war.

“Some parents came to thank us,” she said.
The event was open to all children, who received a meal and a party pack.
“Our volunteers were also so great. They helped us to keep all the children safe, throughout the day,” she added.
The organisation cleaned up the park on Friday, in preparation for the event.
